Samuel Johnson Joins Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. as Project Engineer

HOUSTON, TX Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. LAN welcomes Samuel Johnson, P.E., as project engineer specializing in water and sewer modeling and analysis for Houston's large diameter pipeline group.
With 13 years of experience, Johnson will be responsible for modeling, analysis, and planning efforts as they relate to water and wastewater master plans as well as standalone projects. He previously worked for the San Antonio Water System, where he supported various water and sewer projects to improve or expand existing infrastructure. His most notable experience includes the development of its central and western sewershed models, which total approximately 465 square miles and more than 3.4 million linear feet.
"Samuel's hands-on expertise with both water and sewer modeling in addition to his background on the client side provides a broader perspective and more comprehensive support for projects," said Melissa Mack, P.E., LAN's modeling and planning team leader. "His first-hand understanding of system issues and clients' concerns are key components of effective modeling and analysis."
A licensed engineer in Texas, Johnson holds a Bachelor's in civil engineering from Prairie View A&M University.
