AUSTIN, TX The Texas Water Development Board has approved financial assistance totaling $50.4 million for a water supply project and two wastewater system improvement projects. Of this funding, $4.4 million was designated for rural water projects.
$2,345,000 to the City of Strawn (Eastland, Erath, and Palo Pinto counties) for a water supply project
$46,000,000 to the Upper Trinity Regional Water District (Fannin, Collin, Cooke, Dallas, Denton, Grayson, and Wise counties) for wastewater system improvements
$2,057,442 to the Sequoia Improvement District (Harris County) for wastewater system improvements
