Project Control Announces Promotions of San Marco and Hawryluk

SAN ANTONIO, TX Project Control announces that Greg San Marco is being promoted to Regional Vice President of the Austin region. As Regional Vice President, San Marco manages and oversees all aspects of Project Control's Regional office including operations, leadership, project management, and business development.
Project Control Austin region will serve clients in Austin and the surrounding geographic region. "I am very excited to have the opportunity to provide owners solutions through Project Control's brand of professional project management services to the Austin client base," says San Marco. "Our strength is our focus on our client's goals and intentions from the programming, design development process and through the construction commissioning and warranty phase."
San Marco has more than 30 years of experience in various construction project management and civil engineering related fields. While at Project Control, he has managed numerous large projects. For USAA, San Marco managed multiple projects including workplace remodels, acquisitions and expansions, and new construction for the San Antonio campus, Corporate Regional Offices, and remote banking institutions nationwide. For three years, he oversaw the $100 million dollar, 27 acre development of the homeless transformation center, Haven for Hope, in San Antonio, Texas. San Marco is a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering. San Marco is also registered Professional Engineer, registered Professional Land Surveyor, and a certified Project Management Professional.
Project Control also announcse the promotion of Paul G. Hawryluk, P.E., to Regional Vice President. Â Hawryluk will serve as the company's Representative in the Bryan-College Station and Houston markets and surrounding areas. As Regional Vice President, Hawryluk will be responsible for operations, leadership, construction project management, and business development.Â
Hawryluk has proven himself as a highly effective Project Manager for Project Control, most recently as the Senior Program Manager for the $485 million Texas A&M University Kyle Field Stadium Redevelopment project, which was completed under budget. Â The stadium was kept operational during the football season, with all work completed during two separate off-seasons. Hawryluk is currently serving as Senior Project Manager for the Corps of Cadets Dorms Renovation for Texas A&M University in College Station, improvements to the Menil Collection in Houston, and additions to the Houston Food Bank. Â
Hawryluk brings to Project Control more than 20 years of experience managing projects for a variety of higher education and school district clients. Hawryluk holds two Bachelor of Science degrees from Texas A&M University - College Station, and is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers and the Project Management Institute.
