GILBERTS, IL Ductilcrete Slab Systems, LLC originated as a solution to the traditional pitfalls of the concrete floor slab industry - increased number of floor joints, high costs of maintenance, and limited warranty, to name a few. The company has since then established a track record of offering a patented solution to address those typical disadvantages associated with conventional concrete floor slabs. As a result, owners, developers and contractors are now able to utilize an option that is more sustainable and more affordable in their projects. But Ductilcrete's success in the concrete floor slab industry extends beyond its most apparent audience as the company's mission includes focus on the broader community. Specifically, Ductilcrete's leadership developed a formula for giving back - the company donates $52.80 for every mile of floor joints saved with Ductilcrete's slab systems.

In the past, Ductilcrete supported the American Cancer Society (through its partnership with The Conlan Company) as well as Purdue University Krannert School of Management's Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities (EBV) program (through its partnership with Lithko Contracting, LLC). Most recently, Ductilcrete will be celebrating another licensee's success, Scurto Cement Construction (Gilberts, Illinois), by donating $10,000 to proper the mission of the Saving Tiny Hearts Society as a result of Scurto Cement Construction reaching a major milestone - installation of 40 million square feet of Ductilcrete.  Subsequently, Scurto's leadership was asked to select a non-profit organization of their choice to benefit from that success. The Saving Tiny Hearts Society is on a mission to spread awareness of congenital heart defects (CHD) as well as to raise funds to support research benefiting those affected by CHD. Currently, the efforts exploring projects to improve, prolong and save the lives of those affected by CHD are inadequate, so Ductilcrete's monetary gift is especially timely.

Ductilcrete's leadership continues to deliver on its core business value of improving the lives of others in multiple ways. Celebrating successful business partnerships by giving to others allows the company to amplify its positive impact far beyond the concrete floor slab industry and its direct licensees. Ductilcrete's approach allows the company to extend its triumphs to support causes bigger than the company's self-interests.

Ductilcrete continues to deliver on its promise to give back.
