Stantec's Plano Office Grows with New Hires Castellanos, Mock and Velez

PLANO, TX Stantec announces three new employees have joined the firm's Plano, Texas, office.
Jimmy Castellanos, AIA, joins the Plano team as a Project Architect. Castellanos brings 17 years' of experience providing architectural and project management services, with a specialization in medical equipment and space planning, code compliance, and construction documents. He will apply his past management experience with healthcare and education clients to help grow Stantec's Buildings Group in Texas. He is a Registered Architect in Texas and an active member of the American Institute of Architects.
Andrew Mock joins the team as Structural Designer, bringing more than four years' of experience in building design and analysis. Mock earned his Master of Science in structural engineering from The University of Illinois, where he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in structural engineering. His experience includes workplace and residential projects with a focus on structural analysis and architectural coordination. A thought leader in the structural engineering field, Mock has authored numerous articles and given seminars on structural concrete and building design nationwide.
Luciana Velez joins the team as an Architectural Designer. A graduate of Centro Universitario Filadelfia in Londrina, Brazil, Velez offers six years' of experience in providing architectural services for commercial, residential, and hospitality clients. Her background includes a concentration in planning, schematic design, and construction documents. She is an active licensed architect in Brazil.
