SSR Hires Commissioning Principal Schlageter for Houston Area

NASHVILLE, TN Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. (SSR) announces that William (Bill) Schlageter, P.E., LEED AP, CxA, CEA, CEM, EMP, has joined the firm as a Principal for the Commissioning program in the firm's Houston office.

"When I first saw Bill's resume, I immediately thought that his addition to our team could prove to be a home run," said Mike Coyne, P.E., CxA, Senior Principal.  "Over the past six weeks we have anxiously awaited him joining our group, and now that he has started I know he is going to help us tremendously in the Texas market."

Schlageter comes to SSR with over 30 years of industry experience managing both projects and client relations. His project experience includes healthcare, educational, and commercial work. In a previous role, Schlageter was responsible for providing LEED commissioning services to healthcare clients.

Schlageter earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Rhode Island. He is a professional engineer registered in 13 states, a registered LEED AP from the U.S. Green Building Council, Commissioning Agent (CxA), Certified Energy Auditor (CEA), Certified Energy Manager (CEM), and Energy Management Professional (EMP).
