Texas Water Development Board Approves $9.4M in Financial Assistance for Water System and Wastewater System Improvements

AUSTIN, TX The Texas Water Development Board approved financial assistance totaling $9,365,000 for water system and wastewater system improvements. Of this funding, $290,000 was designated for rural water projects. 

$4,075,000 to the Sunbelt Fresh Water Supply District (Harris County) for wastewater system improvements and a water supply project

$200,000 to the New Ulm Water Supply Corporation (Austin and Colorado counties) for a ground storage tank

$5 million to the City of Sweetwater (Nolan County) for water system improvements

$90,000 to the Bluegrove Water Supply Corporation (Clay County) for water system improvements
