MCKINNEY, TX MYCON General Contractors recruits industry veteran C. Scott Pitt as Project Director. Pitt is responsible for overseeing the project management team for MYCON's institutional market, including contract negotiations and execution, construction planning and scheduling, quality control, and safety and compliance management.

"Scott Pitt's experience in managing large-scale office, hospitality and senior living projects enables us to manage more complicated commercial construction projects," said Doug Talley, MYCON's President. "Scott is a results-oriented professional who has built great relationships in this region with architects, owners, developers and subcontractors. We are very pleased that he has joined our leadership team."

Prior to joining MYCON, Pitt spent the past 10 years as Project Manager, then Project Director for one of the nation's largest privately-held construction firms that ranks among the industry's top general contractors in commercial construction, including sports, entertainment, education, government, and green building. Pitt has managed more than $500 million in construction projects, among them, the $215 million Choctaw Casino Resort; the $70 million Trinity Terrace Senior Living facility; the $82 million First Baptist Dallas; and the $69 million Park Lane project featuring a 20-story, luxury multi-family high-rise.

"MYCON is experiencing significant growth and I have always valued the opportunity to contribute to that growth through prudent oversight of more complex construction projects," said Pitt. "With MYCON's strong reputation as a general contractor, owners and developers will find a very good resource for any of their projects."Pitt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering technology from Murray State University and is an active board member of Joey's Dream Builders.
