Robert Ober & Associates Expands Team With Butler, James and Liss

SAN ANTONIO, TX Robert Ober & Associates, LLC, an industrial design-build firm specializing in bulk storage and handling systems and most recognized by its enterprises, Plant Architects + Plant Outfitters, welcomes three new employees.
Alisa Butler joins as an Engineering + Construction Manager. Butler is an established manager with a proven ability to lead teams through successful project execution. She has more than 13 years of experience in the management and execution of Design and EPC projects. Her responsibilities have included project management, construction management, project engineering, quality management, mechanical engineering, and inside sales. With experience in various roles, she brings a thorough understanding of the project execution work process, business development, and quality management. She will be responsible for the full lifecycle of planning, coordinating, and budgeting of the firm's international project undertakings, as well as assisting with construction supervision.
Christopher James joins the firm as a Safety Coordinator. James holds various OSHA and Safety Certifications and is a First-Aid CPR Instructor. He is currently attending Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service to obtain an industry-recognized certification as a Certified Safety and Health Officer (CSHO). He will be working internally with managers and employees to further develop procedures that keep workers safe. James is committed to educating the firm's workforce and public of the most up-to-date safety practices.
Jacob Liss, P.E., joins the team as a Mechanical Engineer, having previously worked extensively in the design and construction of high-tonnage material-handling systems and other mining infrastructure. He has more than 10 years of experience in specialty material handling, including 5-plus years as a Site Engineer and Construction Manager in various domestic and international mining projects. With his diverse skill set he will contribute to a number of efforts within the firm, including design, construction, business development, and quality control.
