Austin Commercial Celebrates Texas Health Presbyterian Plano Hospital Topping Out

PLANO, TX Austin Commercial celebrates the topping out of the Texas Health Presbyterian Plano Hospital renovation/expansion project by cooking and serving BBQ to more than 100 attendees, including Texas Health Resources representatives, nurses, and hospital staff. Other attendees included subcontractors, architects and design team members.
The new addition portion of this Phase 2 project includes construction of five new operating rooms arranged around a Clean Core. The renovation portions consist of a new Endoscopy Recovery area, one additional Endoscopy Procedure Room, Endoscopy Control Room, a relocated Surgery Control Desk, Satellite Pharmacy and Anesthesia Workroom.
The new addition encompasses approximately 8,600 square feet and the renovations encompass approximately 10,000 square feet. Also included in the project is a shell space of approximately 13,000 square feet and a mechanical penthouse expansion of 3,100 square feet.
