SAN ANTONIO, TX KFW Engineers & Surveying promotes Omar Espinosa, EIT, to Assistant Project Manager of a residential civil land development team.

Espinosa joined KFW in 2012 as an EIT. His hard work, innovation, and team-oriented attitude allowed him to quickly rise to his new management position at KFW. As Assistant Project Manager, Espinosa is responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers and technicians.

"Omar brings exceptional leadership and knowledge to the team, and we are fortunate to have him as a key team member," said Blaine Lopez, Partner at KFW. "We are thrilled about his new position within the company and look forward to his bright future here."

Espinosa received a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. He is currently enrolled in UTSA's Civil Engineering master's degree program where he is focusing on advanced geometric design and hydrology.

Espinosa is a mentor both at work and within the community. He is actively involved in volunteering to support local and national causes, including March of Dimes and FIRST® Lego League where he served as a judge for their LEGO-based robot competition teaching students real-world engineering challenges.
