Salmon Joins Hoar Construction's Texas Division

DALLAS, TX With more than 18 years at Hoar Construction, Senior Superintendent Clayton Salmon joins the Texas Division from their Alabama team. Salmon has more than a million square feet of healthcare construction experience. His favorite project is Children's of Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama, where he completed a seven-year assignment; he said he "witnessed firsthand what was important to the end users and patients. The daily construction coordination, decisions and efforts directly affected the children's livelily hood for years to come." Children's of Alabama is a 762,000-square-foot replacement hospital with 340 beds, four bridges, and one under-street tunnel, and LEED Gold certification.
"I cannot begin to tell you how important Clayton Salmon has been to the construction of the Benjamin Russell Hospital for Children," said Mike Warren, CEO, Children's of Alabama. "We wish him the very best as he continues his career with Hoar Construction from his home state of Texas. In Clayton Salmon, you have a real service hero."
A native Texan and San Antonio Spurs fan, Clayton is known for his wit and knack for fun. He has a "can-do" attitude when he works with any team to accomplish goals. His creativity in finding solutions for construction challenges such as already occupied buildings have earned him the Alabama Subcontractors Association's 2012 Superintendent of the Year award. Currently, Salmon is in Dallas, Texas, working on The Ascent at Victory Park, a 627,000-square-foot high-rise built in the popular Victory Park development.
