CobbFendley's Transportation Group Grows in Texas

HOUSTON, TX CobbFendley's Transportation Group adds several key personnel in the southeast, central and north Texas regions. Robert (Bob) Cuellar, PE, serving as Transportation Director, is focused on collaborating with CobbFendley's transportation leadership to develop infrastructure opportunities across Texas. Cuellar contributes more than 35 years of engineering experience, including more than 20 years with the Texas Department of Transportation. His experience in developing transportation solutions and innovative project financing options will prove beneficial to CobbFendley's clients and employees who will benefit from his project mentoring.

Steven Bak, PE, joins the Houston, Texas, office as Hydraulics & Hydrology Discipline Manager working with state-wide drainage experts to enhance CobbFendley's efforts to alleviate flooding issues for municipalities, departments of transportation, flood control districts and private clients. Bak provides more than 30 years of hydraulic design and transportation engineering and will be instrumental in project management and development.

Abulkhair Zobayed, PE, is a strategic addition to CobbFendley's North Texas Transportation Operations providing more than 22 years of experience managing and designing complex, multi-year construction and rehabilitation projects. As Senior Project Manager, Zobayed will utilize his experience in the preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates and construction documents for a variety of urban/rural/suburban projects ranging from city streets to complex multi-level urban freeway projects to further CobbFendley's transportation footprint in the North Texas region.
