BIG RED DOG Promotes Boyd to Chief Operating Officer
AUSTIN, TX BIG RED DOG announces the promotion of Shannon Boyd to Chief Operating Officer. Boyd joined BIG RED DOG in 2015 and previously served as a Vice President for the company and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) practice leader in the Austin, Texas, office.
Boyd had previously been a Vice President at local Austin MEP firm for the past 11 years. Boyd holds a Bachelor of Arts from St. Edwards University in Austin, and is a Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD) as designated by the American Society of Plumbing Engineers and is a green building LEED accredited professional (LEEP AP).
"Shannon has been instrumental to the success of our MEP department," said BIG RED DOG's Chief Executive Officer, Will Schnier. Boyd will assume responsibility for the alignment and prioritization of company processes and operations, including taking steps to improve the already excellent team member culture.
