Thetford Returns to Hoar as Project Executive
HOUSTON, TX Scott Thetford has been named Project Executive for Hoar Construction's Texas Division.
In this role, Thetford will provide senior leadership to teams on preconstruction and construction efforts with an emphasis on risk management. He will oversee the bid process, give insight on budget and estimates, and as an executive, he will be an integral part of the division's strategic planning and positioning.
Thetford originally joined Hoar in early 2000s after graduating college and spent time both in the field and in the office working on key accounts such as Escapes!, Granite Properties, Marriott, and Midway. He then spent time on the client-side before returning to Hoar and joining our leadership team.
"Scott is a builder, a thinker, and a leader," said Brian Cook, Division Vice President. "His experience both on the construction and owner side give him a unique perspective that make him an asset to our division's long term success."
Thetford, a native Texan, is a graduate of Texas A&M University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in construction science. He is currently leading the efforts on the Methodist Central Utility Plant Renovation and Expansion project, as well as Texas A&M Texarkana and Stream's tower renovation at 600 Jefferson in downtown Houston, Texas.
