Davis Joins LBG-Guyton Associates

HOUSTON, TX Jeffrey Davis has been named a Senior Associate in the Houston, Texas, office of LBG-Guyton Associates, a professional groundwater-consulting firm.
In his new position, Davis will be responsible for business development and marketing, project and client management, and management of staff in the Houston office.
Davis is a Senior Hydrogeologist and licensed professional engineer with more than 20 years of experience in the mining, oil and gas, and water resources industries. His areas of expertise include environmental engineering, as well as groundwater and GIS modeling, and software and model development. Prior to joining LBG-Guyton, he was a Senior Hydrologist with the Houston office of an international consulting engineering organization.
Davis is active in the mining industry in such areas as water management, remediation, NEPA activities, and other groundwater related efforts. He has served as chair and keynote speak¬er for mining conferences focused on water management and presented current treatment approaches for mine wastewater treatment.
A licensed professional engineer in Texas (pending), Colorado, Florida, and Utah, Davis received Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in civil and environmental engineering from Brigham Young University. He is a member of the National Groundwater Association, Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration, Society of Petroleum Engineers, Energy & Mineral Law Foundation, Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation, and the American Bar Association.
