BIG RED DOG Launches Structural Engineering Practice

AUSTIN, TX BIG RED DOG engineering announces the launch of its Structural Engineering Practice to serve private and municipal clients throughout Texas.
Arnaud Thibonnier, PE, SE, will lead the new structural engineering service line as a Director of Structural Engineering Services. Thibonnier will be responsible for the design of efficient and effective structural systems for various types of commercial and residential projects. He will be involved in all phases of the design process from initial concept through completion of construction documents, including calculations, coordination of design and production of drawings and specifications.
Forrest Bratton, PE, SECB, joins BIG RED DOG as a Structural Project Manager. Bratton will join Thibonnier in the design and project delivery for a wide variety of structures and will be involved in guiding them successfully from early schematic design through construction. His project experience includes theaters, schools, churches, assembly halls, mixed-use and podium structures, and mid-rise multi-family residences. Bratton's structural designs have also supported award-winning and highly-detailed projects recognized locally and statewide for their design achievement, including their use of architecturally-expressed structure. His projects have also been featured in such publications as Texas Architect, ArchDaily, and Architizer.
With this new practice, BIG RED DOG now provides structural engineering services to both municipalities and private clients in Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio, Texas. The practice's capabilities extend to commercial, education, healthcare, hospitality, and multi-family market sectors. Additionally, the team's material expertise includes structural steel, concrete, timber and masonry.
