AUSTIN, TX Greg Swoboda joins Garver as a Senior Project Manager and will lead the company's South and Central Texas Water Team from Garver's Austin, Texas, office.

Swoboda brings more than 28 years of water and wastewater industry experience to Garver, including planning, design, project and construction management of water and wastewater treatment, pumping, collection, storage, transmission, and distribution systems. Swoboda will support Garver's Texas projects and recent growth in the state by helping clients meet operation and maintenance requirements as well as regulatory and financial requirements for their water and wastewater projects.

With an education in civil engineering from Texas A & M University, Swoboda has previously worked on projects in various capacities throughout Austin, San Antonio, and the Dallas Metro area.

He's currently serving as Deputy Trustee for the South Texas Chapter of the American Water Works Association, but formerly served that organization as President and Vice President. Swoboda is a member of the Water Environment Federation, the San Antonio Chamber Water Committee, and he's the former chair and vice chair of the New Braunfels Chamber Natural Resources Committee.

Before joining Garver, Swoboda served as Water/Wastewater Lead at HDR Engineering, Inc,. of San Antionio and CDM Smith, Inc. of Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio.
