AUSTIN, TX Construction management firm Structure Tone Southwest adds two professionals to its growing Austin, Texas, team and one to its Houston, Texas, team.

Matt Mazurek joins the Austin team as Director of Operations and Bert Schnoebelen joins as Director of Business Development. David Ladewig joins the Houston office as Director of Business Development.

Austin Team

Mazurek, a graduate of Texas State University and a central Texas native, returns to Austin after spending eight years in Structure Tone Southwest's Oklahoma division. In his more than 15 years in the industry, he has worked on a broad range of interior and ground-up building projects, from highly technical data center facilities to corporate office interiors. As the Director of Operations in Austin, Mazurek will lead the firm's project work in the region and work to strengthen the office's operational processes and business development efforts.

Schnoebelen joins Structure Tone to help Mazurek and the Austin team better hone their strategy for growth. He entered the constructed industry 10 years ago after serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. His focus markets in Austin include both ground-up and interior work for commercial, healthcare, high-tech and residential buildings across the region. Schnoebelen is extremely active in the greater Austin community, serving on the board of directors for the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Austin and as project manager for the construction of the Austin Sunshine Camp's new facility in Zilker Park. He also volunteers for such programs as the Coastal Conservation Association and First Tee of Greater Austin.

Houston Team

Ladewig will be responsible for leading all new business opportunities for the firm in the Greater Houston Area.

He comes to Structure Tone Southwest after previously serving as the Business Development Manager for Balfour Beatty Construction in Houston. A graduate of the University of Houston and Texas Tech University, he is currently the president of the Texas Tech Alumni Association of Houston and is a founding board member of CHIME (Central Houston Inc.), a popular young professionals group promoting downtown Houston as a place to live, work and play. Ladewig is also active in numerous local organizations, including the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, Rice Architecture Mentor Program, Rice Design Alliance, Urban Land Institute and the University of Houston Bauer Graduate Real Estate Program.
