Joehl Joins Cadence McShane Construction Company as Vice President of Finance
ADDISON, TX Will Hodges, President of Cadence McShane Construction Company, announces that Douglas Joehl, CPA, joins the firm as Vice President of Finance.
In this role at Cadence McShane, Joehl is responsible for the financial management and construction accounting functions for the firm, as well as directing the firm's relationships with outside financial entities. Joehl also manages the firm's surety and insurance programs and provides critical guidance and direction in these areas. Furthermore, he supervises a professional staff of accounting associates dedicated to processing the complex financial transactions that occur throughout the construction process.
Joehl possesses 16 years of experience managing financial and accounting functions within the commercial construction industry. His strong financial planning and analysis background provides expert leadership for Cadence McShane's treasury functions. He also works with the firm's management team to lead, plan and direct the course of the company's business strategies.

Prior to joining Cadence McShane, Joehl served as Vice President and Group Controller of KBR, a publically-traded engineering and construction company based in Houston, Texas. Prior to that, he was the Vice President and Treasurer at BE&K Inc., a privately-held engineering and construction firm headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama. He also held positions at Ernst & Young, LLP, St. Luke's Health System and Price Waterhouse LLP.
Joehl earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in accounting at the University of Houston (Magna cum laude) and is a Certified Public Accountant.
