Seven Attorneys From the National Construction Law Firm of Peckar & Abramson, P.C. Achieve Texas Board Certification in Construction Law
AUSTIN, TX The national construction law firm of Peckar & Abramson, P.C. (P&A) announces that seven attorneys from its Texas offices in Austin, Dallas and Houston, have achieved Texas Board Certification from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization (TBLS) in the program's inaugural year for the category of Construction Law. As a result, P&A now has the most Texas Board Certified construction law attorneys in any law firm.

George C. Baldwin
Baldwin, a partner in the Austin office, focuses his practice on the resolution of commercial disputes through litigation, mediation, and arbitration. He is consistently called upon by top decision makers for his depth of knowledge and ability to resolve complicated construction-related problems in a cost-effective and business-oriented manner. He has extensive experience in cases involving scheduling problems, acceleration, delays, defective construction, and defective and ambiguous plans and specifications. Baldwin also serves as an arbitrator and mediator for the Washington, D.C. and Dallas offices of the American Arbitration Association and for private parties.
J. Paulo Flores
Flores is a partner in Peckar & Abramson's Dallas office. With over 25 years of legal experience, he focuses his practice on construction law and litigation. He has successfully handled numerous construction related disputes in litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute forums and represents a wide range of industry clients. Flores serves as both a mediator and an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association on its construction and commercial law disputes, as well as large case panels.
Jeffrey A. Ford
A partner in Peckar & Abramson's Dallas office, Ford represents contractors, developers, owners, specialty contractors and sureties in all facets of the construction process, from the preparation of contract documents, to counseling on business and legal issues that arise during projects, and the resolution of disputes. He understands the nuances and challenges of the construction industry and consistently demonstrates an expert handling of legal issues, as well as a deep personal commitment to his clients.
Tracy Russell Galimore
Galimore is Senior Counsel in the Construction Law and Surety practice groups in P&A's Houston office. Galimore's practice includes the general representation of contractors, sureties, owners, developers, subcontractors and suppliers in contract negotiation, general project execution and dispute resolution. Her experience includes first and second chair representation of construction clients in all phases of litigation. Galimore regularly negotiates commercial, industrial, multi-family and residential construction contracts and has supported the negotiation of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts, as well as joint venture agreements on several major energy, chemical and power projects.
Curtis W. Martin
Martin is Managing Partner of P&A's Houston office. He represents contractors and owners on large construction projects and advises clients on all facets of the construction process, from the preparation of contract documents to counseling on risk management, business and legal issues that arise during projects, and dispute resolution. Martin draws on his extensive experience in the construction industry, where he has focused his professional life since 1979 as both a construction lawyer and an industry executive.

Matthew S. C. Moore
Moore is a Partner in P&A's Construction and Surety practice groups, where he focuses primarily on the transactional litigation and dispute resolution aspects of construction law. He represents general contractors, sureties, owners, developers, subcontractors and suppliers in all phases of construction and on a wide variety of construction-related issues, including breach of contract, breach of warranty, mechanic's liens, contractual and statutory indemnity, payment and performance bonds, collections, fraud, extra work, construction defects, contract termination, differing site conditions, bid protests, bid mistakes and delay and disruption claims, in both the public and private sectors.
