Broussard LAN as Regional Water Resources Manager

HOUSTON, TX Brian Broussard, PE, joins planning, engineering and program management firm Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN) as its Regional Water Resources Manager. In this role, Broussard will serve as a technical advisor for LAN's water and wastewater practice, assist with project pursuits, mentor the firm's water and wastewater engineers, direct and coordinate production and operations, and provide quality assurance on projects. He will also help lead LAN's Montgomery County office located in the heart of Conroe.
Broussard has more than 32 years of experience focused on the planning, design, construction and program management of wastewater treatment and collection systems. He has led collection system evaluations, rehabilitation design, capital project designs, sanitary sewer overflow abatement, pump station design and testing, as well as utility system operations support. He is also experienced in design of water pumping stations, water wells and pipelines.
Broussard has served municipal clients on some of the most critical wastewater projects in Texas, Louisiana, Florida and Georgia. He served as a program manager for the city of Houston, Texas', public utilities program where his team of more than 40 engineers were integrated with city staff to evaluate its sanitary sewer collection system and develop contracts to repair pipes causing poor performance. He also served as a deputy program manager for city of New Orleans, Louisiana's, Sewerage and Water Board, where he was responsible for oversight of staff responsible for sanitary sewer collection system evaluations and repairs.
