SCHERTZ, TX Closner Equipment Company broke ground in late 2016 to begin construction of a new North Texas Regional office. The full-service facility is just west of IH 35 at 6532 East SH 114 in Rhome, Texas. Sitting on 9 acres of land, the 21,000-square foot facility is due to open September 1st and will provide sales, rentals, long term leases, parts, re-builds and field service for Closner's focused line of concrete, asphalt, reclamation and stabilization products.

Closner was founded in 1946, and has expanded across Texas as manufacturers have sought Closner's partnership. Closner entered the DFW market in 2012 at a facility in Haslet, Texas. According to JB Closner, VP North Texas, "Our success in North Texas has exceeded our expectations. To continue that momentum, we purchased land in 2015 and then designed a facility to serve the needs of our North Texas customers".

The primary brands serviced out of this new facility will be: Roadtec (an Astec Industries Company), Putzmeister, Dynapac, Rosco, Mauldin, Carlson and Lincoln Elevators.
