Stanley Consultants Promotes Cabrera to Business Development Manager

AUSTIN, TX Stanley Consultants promotes Jesse Cabrera, PE, to Business Development Manager in the Energy & Environmental Market. His focus will be higher education, local, state and federal institutions, power generation and distribution, and industrial-based private clients in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and New Mexico.Â
Cabrera, who joined Stanley Consultants in 2001, served most recently as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager. He is a licensed professional engineer and a project management professional with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas Austin, and an MBA from Texas State University. He is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the Project Management Institute (PMI).
With more than 25 years of professional experience Cabrera's project experience encompasses the design of equipment and auxiliaries for facilities such as thermal energy plants and distribution systems, electric generating, and combined cycle plants, His technical expertise includes testing and evaluation of power generating systems to provide the most cost-effective operation, major equipment testing, boiler tuning and involvement with special projects related to unit performance. Â
He has worked on a wide variety of thermal utility and combined heat & power projects including UT-San Antonio NTEP Steam System Upgrades, UT-Austin Chilling Station No. 6, and the Qurayyah Independent Power Project Turbine Inlet Cooling System Study.
