HOUSTON, TX Pape-Dawson Engineers, Inc. announces Jason Atkinson, PE, as a new Vice President in the Houston, Texas, office. Atkinson will be a key leader in Pape-Dawson's Houston office, helping to promote and manage Pape-Dawson Engineers' services in the Greater Houston area.

Atkinson has more than 22 years of experience in engineering design, project management, business development, and practice leadership in the engineering sector. In his most recent role as Practice Leader of Civil Engineering and Surveying, he was responsible for growth and profitability of the land development, site development, public works, and surveying businesses across public and private markets. 

"We are excited to have Jason join our management team," Pape-Dawson Engineers' Senior Vice President, Michael Preiss, PE, said, "We look forward to the knowledge, experience, and value he will bring to our clients."

Atkinson holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering and a Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas. Atkinson is the past president of The Association of Commercial Real Estate Professionals and is also a member of NAIOP and the Urban Land Institute.
