Hoar Hires Snyder as Preconstruction Manager for Austin Office

HOUSTON, TX - Jacob Snyder has been named Preconstruction Manager for Hoar Construction's Austin, Texas, office.Â
Snyder will provide support on preconstruction efforts with an emphasis on MEP systems. A Texas state certified Professional Mechanical Engineer and NCEES licensed engineer, he has dedicated his career to working on healthcare-related and laboratory-related systems.Â
Throughout the past 14 years, Snyder has completed nearly 350 healthcare and laboratory design projects, including the first Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) job in the state of Indiana. His unique experience is ideal as Hoar continues to manage healthcare work across Texas.Â

A Six Sigma Certified Yellow Belt and Green Belt, Snyder will also be charged with identifying opportunities for lean construction methodologies throughout the planning stages, as well as implementing process improvement. Snyder serves as an active member of the Lean Construction Institute, is a founding member of two local LCI Community of Practice groups, and is a member of the LCI Design Forum Planning Committee.Â
Snyder is a graduate of Purdue University where he earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
