Dewberry Hires Byrd and Henderson for Houston Office

FAIRFAX, VA Dewberry announces that Kenneth Byrd, AIA, and Mark Henderson, AIA, have been hired to support architecture initiatives in the firm's Houston, Texas, office.

Kenneth Byrd joins Dewberry as a Senior Project Manager with more than three decades of experience in successfully coordinating the design and construction of commercial and institutional facilities. With a specialty in healthcare, he has worked with a multitude of local healthcare facilities including the University of Texas MD Anderson and the Methodist Sugar Land Hospital.

Byrd earned bachelor's degrees in fine arts and architecture from the University of Houston. He is a registered architect in Texas and a member of the American Institute of Architects.

In his new role as Principal, Mark Henderson is responsible for business development in the Houston, Texas, metropolitan area. He has more than 32 years of experience managing and designing national and international healthcare projects that have contributed to the advancement of facilities across the nation. His experience includes being at the forefront of successful project delivery for design-build, innovative planning, and patient-experience mapping for many facilities including the University of Texas MD Anderson and the Harris Health System. 

Henderson earned his bachelor of architecture from Texas Tech University. He is a registered architect in Texas and a member of the American Institute of Architects.
