MacAllister Machinery Co. Celebrates Groundbreaking for New Headquarters

Chris MacAllister, President and COO of MacAllister Machinery Co. said the new facility will give the Indianapolis based team plenty of room for growth and expansion.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN , Indiana's Caterpillar equipment dealer, celebrated a groundbreaking for its new headquarters on the southeast side of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Dodging downpours, the event had a successful turnout of employees and community dignitaries anxious to see the new building site plans.

The 133-acre tract will house MacAllister's new 345,000-square-foot headquarters and will allow the company to consolidate its heavy equipment shops, parts warehouse, light equipment sales and service, and substantially, all of its office and administrative functions. The new site is immediately inside the intersection of I-465 and I-74E.

"We have outgrown our facilities at 7515 East 30th Street where we have been headquartered since 1966," said , President and COO. "The new facility will afford us plenty of room for growth and expansion. Most of our Indianapolis-based team will be under one roof - a dynamic that will enhance efficiency, access, teamwork, and communications. Additionally, we remain on the east side of town where we have deep roots."
