Bell Named K Friese + Associates Newest Associate

AUSTIN, TX K Friese + Associates (KFA) announces the promotion of B. Ryan Bell, PE, to Associate. Bell's achievement comes after thirteen years with KFA, and a successful transition from water and wastewater design to his passion of transportation design.
"In 2008, KFA began growing our transportation services to meet the needs of our clients as the population grew in Texas and the need for new and upgraded transportation facilities increased," said Bell. "I knew this was the right opportunity for me to help diversify and grow our company, better serve our clients, and to expand my own expertise as an engineer."
Bell has since successfully managed or performed as the lead engineer on numerous transportation projects including the I"30 Mainlane and Frontage Road reconstruction project in Royce City, Texas; the Colorado Sand Drive project in Pflugerville, Texas; and the Marketplace Avenue extension project in Kyle, Texas. His representative work in water design includes the McNutt Creek wastewater interceptor in Round Rock, Texas, and the Carmel/Sorento lift station in Pflugerville.
Bell will continue to play an important role in supporting projects throughout the region as his diverse background as a designer, project manager, and leader is an asset to KFA's clients and team members.
"Ryan's ability to provide leadership, technical guidance and excellent client service has had a meaningful impact on the success of our firm," said Karen Friese, PE, KFA President.
Ryan received his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Louisiana Tech University, and is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas.
