Jacobs Announces New Architectural Principal for Central Texas
SAN ANTONIO, TX Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc. announces CÃ©sar A. Silva, AIA, as the new Architectural Principal for the Central Texas region (CTX). Silva previously served as Director of Planning, Design, and Construction for the Bexar County Hospital District dba. University Health System where he led a team of 14 project managers. His department was responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of all new construction and renovation projects ensuring consistency with the Health System's strategy, commitments and goals.
With 24 years of experience, his expertise includes program and project management, architectural design and programming services in: healthcare, higher education and federal/government. In his new role, Silva will be responsible for building the architectural practice and facilitating the creative direction of all design related efforts for the Jacobs' San Antonio/Austin (CTX) studios. He will also focus on maintaining and developing effective working relationships with clients, project/program managers and sector heads in the Central Texas Region.
CÃ©sar Silva earned his Master of Architecture degree from Texas A&M University in College Station. He is licensed in the State of Texas.
