Terex Utilities Hosts Annual Service School

WATERTOWN, SD To keep mechanics and service technicians up-to-date on the latest  equipment technologies and advancements, hosted its annual Service School on in Watertown, South Dakota. At this year's event, the Terex Service Department hosted 71 people; some attendees came from as far away as Australia to participate, representing 38 utility companies.
The 2015 Service School offeres attendees the opportunity to learn tips, tricks, and techniques on utility trucks and support equipment from experienced Terex instructors. During the three-day event, participants rotated through a series of stations that incorporated Terex utility equipment and training aids to educate attendees on the most current maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair procedures for the company's digger derricks and aerial devices.
"Providing an innovative hands-on approach creates an atmosphere where participants feel comfortable asking questions and sharing their experiences with the group," said , Customer Service Manager, Terex Utilities. "This school included in-depth experiences with various units, components and systems. Many of our attendees were from their companies' service departments, and they range from brand-new employees to experienced hydraulic and heavy equipment service technicians. Our Service Schools are designed to provide attendees of all skill levels with the most comprehensive, in-depth information available on a wide-variety of utility equipment to enable them to better do their jobs."
