BROOKFIELD, WI  Troy Hartjes joins R.A. Smith National  a nationwide, multi-disciplined civil and structural engineering and surveying firm headquartered in Brookfield, Wisconsin, as a Senior Project Manager in the Municipal Services Division.

Hartjes brings nearly 20 years of municipal public works engineering experience to this role. Hartjes makes a great asset to R.A. Smith National's municipal clients due to his extensive background in urban and rural roadway rehabilitation and construction, as well as sanitary sewer and water main system design. His experience further includes: stormwater conveyance systems, stormwater management, stormwater utilities, comprehensive drainage plans and site development. Also, Hartjes has assisted municipal clients with capital improvement budgeting and grant writing.

At R.A. Smith National, his responsibilities include client and project management, quality control, and design and coordination of municipal engineering and land development projects.

Hartjes holds a bachelor's in civil engineering, with a dual emphasis in municipal and transportation engineering, from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Wisconsin.

 Hartjes currently resides in Grafton, Wisconsin.
