McGough Construction Hires Cassie Nelson as Vice President of Human Resources

SAINT PAUL, MN  McGough Construction announces that Cassie Nelson joins the company as Vice President of Human Resources. In this role, Nelson will oversee the company's human capital strategy, which will include human capital development, recruitment, compensation, benefits, outreach, training, and performance management.
Nelson joins McGough with more than 20 years of human resource experience, including 12 years at Target Corporation where she held multiple senior leadership roles supporting its property development, construction, supply chain and new business acquisition business segments. She also spent eight years with Supervalu, Inc., in various human resources roles, including recruiting and generalist support within their corporate office and distribution center network.
"Cassie's broad experience in delivering human resources and human development services will be critical as we continue our company's Lean transformation efforts," said McGough Chief Operating Officer, Brad Wood. "Her past experience recruiting personnel nationally and her passion for employee development and organizational design are key strengths she brings to the position. We are excited to have her join our team."
Nelson holds a Masters in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
