Knutson Breaks Ground on $14.25M Saint Paul College Health and Science Alliance Center Project

MINNEAPOLIS, MN  Knutson Construction announces that they have been awarded the role of construction manager for the new Saint Paul College Health and Science Alliance Center (HSAC) project. The HSAC will include a 39,000-square-foot addition and 5,400-square-foot renovation allowing more space for the growing health and science programs offered by Saint Paul College. The new space will feature a plumbing shop, business/industry and university center classrooms, sim labs, and mechanical rooms on the lower and penthouse levels. The new facilities will specifically impact the biology and chemistry departments, which are core requirements for the health programs.
Ryan Christenson, Project Manager, and Rod Sessing, Superintendent, will lead the construction team. Project groundbreaking took place on November and demolition will begin in January with the new facility scheduled for completion in June of 2017.
"Several organizations and many individuals have spent years making the Health and Sciences addition at Saint Paul College possible," said Minneapolis, Minnesota, General Manager, Lance Hornaday. "Knutson is proud to begin the final steps with them to make their vision a reality."
