Nwagbaraoch Accepts Nomination for Vice President of NAMC-WI

MILWAUKEE, WI Ugo Nwagbaraocha, President of Diamond Discs International, accepts the nomination to be the Vice President of the National Association of Minority Contractors - Wisconsin. 

"I am honored, and very appreciative of this nomination to move forward as the Vice President of the National Association of Minority Contractors - Wisconsin," said Nwagbaraocha. "I am very proud of the extraordinary accomplishments and progress NAMC-WI has made over the past years building our brand as a trusted resource for our members and major corporation partners and the local and national business community."

Nwagbaraocha has received numerous awards in recognition of his commitment to quality leadership in the local business communities, including the United States Small Business Administration Emerging Small Business Person Award, the Governor's Minority Business Award for Outstanding Small Business, the Wisconsin Department of Commerce Rising Star recognition, the Business Journal 40 Under 40 Award, the Greater Milwaukee Committee Inner City Business Award, the Pan African Community Association Entrepreneurship Award, and the Africans in Milwaukee Heritage Leadership Award.

"I look forward to continuing to work for the continued achievement of NAMC-WI leadership in bolstering resources and equitable opportunities for diverse firms in the local construction industries," said Nwagbaraocha.

He is a long standing Board Member of the Wisconsin Better Business Bureau and The Business Council.  He earned his bachelor's degree in Political Science with a Law Studies Option from UW-Milwaukee in 1996.
