Palmer Promoted to Senior Leasing Representative in Duke Realty's Cincinnati Office
CINCINNATI, OH Â announces that has been promoted to Senior Leasing Representative in the company's Cincinnati, Ohio, office.
"Since Brian joined the Cincinnati leasing team in 2014, he has improved occupancy in our 8.9 million-square-foot industrial portfolio to more than 98 percent, while exploring land opportunities to expand our industrial footprint in the market," said , Regional Senior Vice President of Duke Realty's Indiana/Ohio region. "In the past year alone, Brian has closed 1.6 million square feet of leases, added 130,000 square feet of speculative space to our industrial base and worked with one of our long-term tenants to expand their building by 52,000 square feet, giving them much needed space for their growing operations."Â
Palmer joined Duke Realty as an intern in the Cincinnati office in 2000, and accepted a full-time position upon his graduation from the University of Cincinnati, where he received a Bachelor of Architecture. In 2002, Palmer transferred to Indianapolis and worked on several significant office and industrial developments, including projects for Blue Cross Blue Shield, Unilever, GE Aviation, and Proctor & Gamble. In 2009, Palmer transferred to the Washington, D.C. construction group, where he was a key contributor on the BRAC 133 Department of Defense complex, the Aerospace Corporation campus and two Amazon.com fulfillment centers. In his 15 years with Duke Realty, Palmer has been involved in more than 8 million square feet of development projects with a value of nearly $1.7 billion.
