CHICAGO, IL RTM announces a joint venture with Innovative Engineers, Inc. (IEI), located in Iowa City, Iowa.

"We are pleased to combine IEI's expertise and resources with those at our Davenport, Iowa, office," said Tony Mirchandani, CEO of RTM. "This joint venture allows RTM and IEI to provide exceptional MEP engineering services to more and bigger projects from current and future clients in Iowa."

IEI will continue to deliver the same high quality and responsive mechanical and electrical engineering design services throughout Iowa, but will possess an increased capacity to serve clients in the healthcare, educational, commercial, residential, mixed-use, retail, industrial, and religious markets.

"RTM brings a modern approach to engineering. They have all the resources you want from a national full-service MEP, but their service delivery feels more like a boutique firm, which is in line with our company mission and values," said IEI CEO Mohammed Abu-Hasan. "We are excited to bring this new level of unified service to Iowa."

The partnership will blend RTM's expertise gained from its extensive portfolio and its 100-person team with IEI's in-depth knowledge of local codes and standards. Notable experience of the combined companies features more than 150 education projects in the Midwest, including more than 20 at Iowa universities; more than 250 healthcare projects in the Midwest; and numerous projects for Iowa municipalities.
