TUKWILA, WA N C Machinery and Tractor and Equipment Co. announces David "Doc" James has been promoted to Vice President of Service, replacing Don Linn who retired in April.

Doc James started with N C Machinery's Alaska division in March 2011, as a General Service Manager with responsibilities for overall Service Operations. In 2014 he became General Product Support Manager for Alaska.

He came to N C Machinery with 12 years experience in operations management, project and facilities management, as well as supervisory and project coordination for another Caterpillar dealer. His experience also included 15 years of welding, field welding management and field service dispatch.

Doc James assumed his new duties immediately and is based out of Tukwila, Washington. As Vice President, he will be responsible for driving Service excellence across the HGI enterprise, which includes N C Machinery territories in Alaska and Washington, as well as Tractor & Equipment Co. in Montana, North Dakota, and Wyoming.
