HOUSTON, TX  Byron L. Bevers, PE, joins Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN) as a Project Manager. In this role, Bevers will be responsible for managing the firm's infrastructure projects in Montgomery County.

"Byron's expertise in both the private and public sectors in Montgomery County further strengthens the firm's knowledge base allowing the firm to foresee and exceed our clients' needs," said Melissa Mack, PE, LAN's Associate and Project Manager.

Bevers, who worked at LAN as a graduate engineer in 2006, has nearly 10 years of experience. Previously, he served the City of Shenandoah as its Director Of Public Works and Community Development, where he was responsible for directing all department activities including capital projects, building inspections and plan review, zoning, water and wastewater operations and planning, streets, drainage, transportation planning, parks, pool and facility maintenance. Prior to that, he worked as a graduate engineer for Bleyl & Associates managing and designing municipal and site development projects.

Bevers received his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M University. Bevers is a registered professional engineer in Texas.
