BlueLine Rental Constructs a Unified Company Culture Using Jive
PALO ALTO, CA Jive Software, Inc. announces BlueLine Rental is deploying Jive to drive strategic alignment and engagement. The company selected Jive's interactive intranet to enable two-way communications and cloud-based collaboration across the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico.
BlueLine's human resources and communications teams wanted to expand communications channels beyond a static intranet, paper newsletter and email updates. To cultivate a vibrant culture amongst its workforce, the company decided to create a modern intranet that would serve as a central collaboration hub for employees' daily work, while giving salespeople in the field a direct line to executives at their corporate office.

BlueLine's new Jive-based intranet, "BlueLink," gives employees one place to find the latest company news and other key information. This interactive intranet enables open discussions and offers simple mechanisms to encourage feedback and knowledge sharing amongst employees in all levels, departments, and regions. BlueLink is helping the company identify and develop more subject matter experts. In addition, the digital workplace links all resources into a one-stop shop to access CRM, learning and development, and business intelligence systems, as well as HR tools for payroll, benefits, time sheets, expense reports and PTO.
BlueLine worked with SocialEdge, to implement the Jive interactive intranet in the cloud in late 2015, and has already more than tripled its active user base. The company leverages Jive's enterprise-class administrative controls for moderation and user profiles to ensure a healthy and professional, yet fun and engaging, internal community. In the next phase, BlueLine will deploy Jive for deskless workers.
