Indiana Construction Roundtable Meeting Focused on “The Diversity of Thingsâ€

INDIANAPOLIS, IN The Indiana Construction Roundtable (ICR) recently held a membership meeting dubbed, "the diversity of things," and featured a highly informative panel of both construction consumers and contractors.
The unique format involved panelists blindly picking questions intended for their counterparts out of a bowl. It led to insightful and candid discussions among the group.
According to ICR Executive Director Chris Price, the meeting was held because, "it is important that a business, while meeting the needs of their consumers, engage the diversity of the community to create long term, sustainable success. Owners are making an effort to increase the diversity of their workforce through the engagement of under-utilized business enterprises."
The panel was comprised of Jesse Moore of Purdue University, Holli Harrington of the Indianapolis Airport Authority, Jessica Nickloy of the etica group, Rosemily Geyer of Geyer Fireprotection and Mel Gravely of Triversity University.
