INDIANAPOLIS, IN The Associated Builders and Contractors of Indiana/Kentucky (ABC) hired two new professionals, one to handle their apprenticeship programs and the other for their safety efforts.
Kyle Bauer is their new Safety Coordinator and has been in the construction industry for 14 years' as a Journeyman Plumber as well as the Safety Coordinator on many projects. Bauer took his trade classes at ABC and has been teaching plumbing for two semesters. He is a recent graduate of Columbia Southern University with a Bachelors of Science degree in occupational safety and health.
Matt Beeson is the new Apprenticeship Coordinator for the Chapter and is an eight year Army veteran who graduated from Western Boone High School in 1996. Upon returning from the military, Beeson spent a year in Indiana building water towers and then moved to Los Angeles to go to the College of Oceaneering and Engineering where he majored in topside and underwater welding technology. He worked in the commercial diving field for 13 years' and spent the last two years teaching welding at Manual High School in Indianapolis.
