Sheridan Will Keynote ICR Annual Event
INDIANAPOLIS, IN Kevin Sheridan will provide the keynote address for the 2016 Annual Conference of the Indiana Construction Roundtable that will occur on Wednesday, October 5 at the Ivy Tech Culinary Academy in Indianapolis.
Sheridan will kick off the event that this year will feature the theme, "Culture of Success."
He is an internationally recognized speaker and New York Times best-selling author for his book, "Building a Magnetic Culture and also wrote, "The Virtual Manager," exploring how to most effectively manage remote workers.
Sheridan spent 30 years as a high-level Human Capital Management consultant helping some of the world's largest corporations break down detrimental processes and rebuild a culture that fosters productive engagement, earning him several awards and honors in the process.
He has been the keynote speaker for several national and international conventions including those hosted by the National Society for Human Resources Management, Harvard Business School, Monster.com, The Human Capital Institute, the American Hospital Association, Chicago SHRM and HRMAC.
He regularly conducts Leadership Development workshops on Employee Engagement, virtual workers and remote work, generational differences in the workplace and the challenges they place on Employee Engagement, Workplace Culture, Talent Attraction and Retention, Employee Communication, Onboarding, and a wide array of other Human Capital related topics.
Prior to forming Kevin Sheridan LLC, he founded HR Solutions International in 1995, a firm specializing in measuring employee engagement and teaching best practices, which he sold in 2011.
After the keynote, breakout sessions will be conducted on a variety of topics including "Knowledge Management and Cyber Security," "IU Health," "Regional Cities Panel Discussion;' and, "Appreciating Corporate Culture."
Following the break out sessions, attendees will attend a reception on the top floor penthouse area with food and drink pairings prepared by Ivy Tech Culinary students.
