Fourth Annual Labor Day Fest

INDIANAPOLIS, IN Georgia Street was transformed into the fourth annual Indy LaborFest, a free-admission street festival featuring live music, food, beverages and a kid's zone. Over 20,000 people attended the event, up from last year's 15,000.
The event is a collaboration between iHeart Media and the Central Indiana Labor Council that represents nearly 52,000 active and retired union members from Marion, Hamilton, Hancock, Shelby, Johnson, Morgan and Hendricks counties.
"Indy LaborFest has quickly become a new end-of-summer staple for central Indiana families," said Shawn Christ, President of the Central Indiana Labor Council. "We're bringing together live entertainment, local celebrities, great food and kids activities right in the heart of downtown Indianapolis."
