ACEC Encourages Interns to Apply for Scholarship

INDIANAPOLIS, IN The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Indiana is reminding college students to begin working on the application process for their scholarship program.
The ACEC Indiana Scholarship Program is dedicated to providing scholarship opportunities for Indiana students pursuing an education in engineering at an ABET-accredited university or college in Indiana. Sophomores, juniors and seniors are eligible to apply for the program. Since its inception, ACEC Indiana has awarded $245,000 in scholarships.
In 2016, ACEC Indiana awarded $26,000 between six students ACEC Indiana has set a precedent to give no less than $1,500 to each winning student and no less than $5,000 for the top applicant. All of these scholarships are checks written directly to the student for their personal use in school expenses. Last year, over half of the applicants received a scholarship award.
The deadline for applicant submissions is February. Further information is posted on the organization's website.
