SVA Architects, Inc. Recruits Yonus

SANTA ANA, CA SVA Architects, Inc. announces that Wahid Yonus, CSI, LEED AP, a seasoned industry leader in mixed-use high-rise and low-rise multifamily residential developments, will be joining its staff as Senior Associate Partner. On a streak of hiring and promoting to keep up with its growing demand, SVA has made several personnel advancements and additions in the past year. SVA focuses on public and private developments incorporating multifamily housing, student housing, and mixed income transit-oriented developments.
Yonus brings 30 years of architectural experience with notable firms such as Skidmore Owings and Merrill, SMWM, and MVE & Partners. Yonus has served at the senior management level for a diverse portfolio of projects, ranging from mixed-use high rises and commercial projects to institutional facilities and multifamily residential developments. Having worked on multiple complex projects, Yonus has an in-depth knowledge of building codes, accessibility and Quality Control and Quality Assurance. Included in Yonus' portfolio are 505 Montgomery Street, a world-class high rise in downtown San Francisco, California, and the San Francisco Main Library, deemed by the AIA to be one of the best libraries ever constructed. With SVA, Yonus will be working on the Spectrum USC, CBU Events Center and the Jordan Downs Housing Project, among others. Yonus is a LEED Accredited Professional and a member of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI).
