SCST Acquires Talentscale, LLC to Provide Expanded Solutions to Clients
SAN DIEGO, CA SCST acquires Talentscale, LLC, another service-disabled, veteran-owned firm headquartered in Temecula, California. The firm has seen rapid development in the last two years in terms of geographic expansion and service offerings. Under SCST's new ownership, this acquisition continues the strategic growth and vision of both firms.
Talentscale will continue to operate as a subsidiary of SCST, with a primary objective to expand its service offerings in several vertical markets. These include the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry, maritime services, as well as expanded engineering and software solutions, while maintaining its long standing client base in aerospace and defense, aviation maintenance, logistics and engineering. Talentscale has provided staffing and long-term contractual labor solutions to their clients for nearly a decade, creating hundreds of jobs within the veteran community.
"This is an exciting time for the Talentscale team," said Doug Poldrugo, Principal of Talentscale. "Being part of the SCST family will allow us to focus on growing our current client base now with the support of a highly professional corporate services team. The benefit is that the SCST core business is AEC and we have been positioning ourselves for this to be another scalable growth area. It will also result in our addition of the next wave of recruiting and business development staff to support the growth into these markets."
Founded in Temecula in 2008, Talentscale is comprised of approximately 120 employees, primarily skilled personnel, providing staffing services to large defense contractors and aerospace firms. They have recently expanded their services to other markets, such as safety managers, QA managers and environmental support staff within the AEC industry.
"There is significant synergy between Talentscale and SCST," said Bill Ulmer, Executive Vice President of SCST. "Both the construction and environmental markets often utilize a staffing service to provide skilled and trained employees on a project-by-project basis where new, full-time employees are often not economical and can be time consuming for general contractors and engineering firms to recruit and train. We are frequently asked to fill these positions and now we have the means to do so at a very aggressive price point with an extremely talented group of recruiters. Our clients are ecstatic."
