Chokshi Appointed Vice President in WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff's San Francisco Office

SAN FRANCISCO, CA Jay Chokshi has been appointed Vice President in the San Francisco, California, buildings office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization.

In his new position, Chokshi will oversee the design of MEP systems for mission critical facilities, as well as projects in other sectors. Some of the firm's recent projects in San Francisco include Salesforce Tower, 100 Van Ness, Transbay Transit Center and the Moscone Convention Center Expansion.

Chokshi has more than 35 years of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) design experience working in a wide variety of market sectors, including high-tech and mission critical facilities, commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, biotech and laboratory buildings, and educational facilities and manufacturing plants. He has extensive design-build and building commissioning expertise. Prior to joining WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, he was at AECOM, where he focused on mission critical facilities exclusively involving major data centers, call centers and colocation facilities for clients such as, Facebook, Apple, Symantec, and Qualcomm.

"Jay brings to a wealth of experience in mission critical design and commissioning, a burgeoning market for WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff throughout California," said Steve Burrows, Director of Buildings and Western Region Leader at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff. "He will play a key role in providing these services to clients, in line with our existing mission critical experts."

Chokshi received a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Tennessee. He is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers.
