AGC Houston Announces Holland as Next President/CEO

HOUSTON, TX — The Associated General Contractors of America - Houston Chapter (AGC), officially announces Kyle Holland as the next President/CEO of the organization. He has served as Vice President of AGC since June of 2020. Holland will succeed Jerry Nevlud, who retired at the end of 2021 after more than 17 years of leading the organization. He becomes the sixth leader of the Chapter in its near 100-year history.
Prior to joining the Houston Chapter, Holland, a graduate of Texas A&M University, spent the last nine years in the commercial construction industry, serving in various roles with local general contracting firms. He brings to the role a knowledge of the contracting business as well as an overall understanding of the Houston commercial market.
“We are excited to have Kyle taking the reins of the organization," said John Marshall, current AGC Chairman of the Board and a Vice President with Satterfield & Pontikes Construction, Inc. “The search committee did an outstanding job of vetting several very well-qualified candidates. The consensus was that he was the right choice to take the organization to the next level."
AGC Houston is a local construction trade association that represents and provides services to commercial building general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, manufacturers, and service firms. Founded in 1923, Houston AGC is one of 89 chapters nationwide.
