Azar joined Black & Veatch in late 2018 and was instrumental in re-positioning Black & Veatch Power to adapt to the changing power landscape and continues to lead the power business in this direction. He brings more than 30 years of energy industry experience to the board as well as service as a member of the company’s executive committee.

Azar’s global energy leadership experience includes serving as CEO of Siemens Oil & Gas and Marine, an engineered solutions and integration business unit. In addition, he was Executive Vice President of Power Generation Solutions Americas for Siemens, where he led and substantially grew the volume and profitability of the business.
